Committee on Discipline

This decision-making committee holds a hearing when a member is called before the committee following a disciplinary complaint. After deliberating, it renders a decision with reasons in writing. It imposes disciplinary measures on a member found guilty of an offence against the Master Electricians Act or the Regulation respecting discipline of the members of the Corporation of Master Electricians of Québec. This committee has five members, each with a three-year term, and may sit with three or five members. They meet approximately ten times a year. Members of the PCA, the complaints examination committee and the appeal committee can not be appointed to the committee on discipline.
